Vacation Possibilities
|
|
Spanish Virgin Islands |
U.S. Virgin Islands |
British Virgin
Islands |
The Grenadines |

Sunsets come is all shades. Our vacation cruises can
take us anywhere in the Virgin Islands: The Spanish Virgin Islands just east
of Puerto Rico; The US Virgin Islands to the east of the SVIs: The British
Virgin Islands still further to the east. Clicking on the chart to the right
will give you an enlarged version of the Caribbean Islands putting the VIs
into perspective.
From a
governmental standpoint, the Spanish Virgin Islands are part of Puerto Rico
while the US Virgin Islands are separate territories and The British Virgin
Islands are administratively independent and no longer part of the United
Kingdon but still remain part of the British Commonwealth of Nations, much
in the same way as Canada and Australia. |

Virgin Island Vacations
Persons joining us for Virgin Island Vacations can have
their choice of where they wish to sail. The SVIs are quiet and harken back
to another era of Spanish living. The USVI are crowded and the great beaches
available easily by boat are in the National Park surrounding St. John or on
Buck Island on the north Side of St. Croix. The British Virgin Islands have
many beaches, many with one or more of their own beach bar(s) and/or
restaurant(s). Excellent snorkeling abounds in the Virgin Islands including
such places as Whistling Cay, Waterlemon Cay, The Indians, The Caves,
Cistern Point, Eustacia and Loblolly Reefs, Monkey Point and
Diamond Cay. Both myriads of tropical fish and different coral may be seen
at any given location.

Travel Guide: Each
group reserving a chance to sail with Owen & Mary will receive a copy of the
Virgin Island Cruising Guide by Chris Doyle immediately on booking
your charter. This guide has included in it a fold-out chart of the VIs
which, together with suggested itineraries prepared by your crew will allow
your vacation to be tailored to your specific likes and desires. |
